The bottom line is they exploit poor people to make money like anyone else does.

They make the world a better place for the spoiled American brat that gets mom and dad to buy Apple products. But..the Chinese worker on the other side of the globe who would have been poor but on his own land as a farmer in a clean rural setting working alongside his family and teaching his kids the business is working like a slave is a dirty city for slightly more than he would have made on the farm because to them that is upward mobility.

Jobs promoted this "idea" that Apple was a renegade, pro-people, anti-corporate company. In reality, they never had enough money.
You must live in some kind of bizarre fantasy world, really. The chinese worker before the apple factory showed up was working 20 hours a day on his fecal splattered plot of land for the equivalent of 50 cents per day. When so called "sweatshop" factories open up, those people line up for days trying to get jobs which will pay them 10x what they are making working on subsistence farms for much fewer hours work per day. I crack up when people have this dreamy vision of "clean rural life" like it's some kind of picnic. I grew up working on farms as a kid. It's dirty, exhausting, backbreaking work that never stops, from before dawn until after dark, with no days off, and no vacations for the farmer, ever.

Talk about being a slave? Try owning a farm. That life owns you, and it never stops

None of these "exploited" people are unhappy that corporations open factories in their areas, and no one forces them to work there, they will walk miles and line up for days to get those jobs.

As for starting a business in order to make money, I guess you probably send back all your profits and share them with your customers right? After all, you are in the top 8% of the wealthiest people in the world.
