steve was a great businessman but a failure as a human being. all brains and no heart, he cared little about people, but about plastic techno gadgets and money.
he was mythic, but myths aren't the whitewashed self-help garbage of today, but often dark and tragic, as steve's later years were, turning into a skeleton in his high tech gothic castle obsessing about objects until the end instead of letting the curse of death give him some insights into the blessings of life.
