But I disgree. Copyright is copyright and that battle royale will be slugged out, and that's all OK. When I said, "this kind of serious misconduct" I meant the smear of child pornography and that's plain from context. The smearers will pretend to misconstrue it to make the smear again and again and again and again and again ad nausem because the copyright battle doesn't have nearly so much sex appeal as falsely branding an adversary with the tarbrush of child porn. And in their attack, they don't care whether the Columbian charge is true or false or whether it goes to trial, because their real aim is simply to hurt these good people as badly as they can manage. And they will keep humming this tune for years to keep hurting Lupe by any means fair or fowl. And when Pablo gets acquitted after he has his day in court, they will just drift off to silence and look all sanctimonious about it.

Look fight your copyright battle to the max if you want. But there is no decent reason to destroy lives by raising the spectre of child pornography on a site that has no connection with it and never has. If you had any basis for it, you'd be informing law enforcement instead of waving your tarbrush here.

Gentle readers, please take stock of which players have brought baseless, unfounded litigation against other parties and have been sanctioned by the courts with an order to pay attorney's fees of their opponents in their prior trips to court.

If people have copyright claims against them, let those people advance their causes and prove them, and both sides will have their day in court. But please, no smear on the remote and unproven allegations, which are a cheap shot unworthy of professionals.
