I've got the R9 Driver (proper one, not the 460) and an Older Big Bertha (4/5 years old maybe) And I prefer the Big Bertha. Callaway and Taylormade are my 2 favourite makes for golf gear.
I also tried some PING stuff aswell and they have a nice feel. (Wedges and Irons)
Really depends what you want I suppose. The R9 is a great driver but I tend to fade it too much with it so I have gone back to the Callaway. Haven't tried the R11 or razr Hawk but they look pretty nice!
I've got a mixutre of wedges, can't remember the brands. Golf Pride I think is one of them and that is really nice.
Cleveland wedges always seem to be the best rated in magazines etc.
I also use a Taylormade rescue dual #3 and they are soo easy to hit and really nice feel.
I've got to upgrade my irons, using a starter set myself and I'm looking at one of the following:
Callaway
Taylormade
Ping
or,
Adams
Anything with a stiff graphite shaft and a nice feel is what I'm looking for. Might even try some hybrids or Combo Irons.
Best irons I ever tested were Callaway X-20 or X-22 (can't remember the model number) they had a real nice feel though.
My Cousin has '09 Burner irons and they feel a little chunky but that might just be me.
