A friend of mind had a GF, she was a hot head so he broke off with her...that night while he was sleeping in his own bed in his own house, she trespasses on his property, puts a ladder to his bedroom window climbs in and stabs him 7 times with a knife before he pushes her off and is able to escape outside and call the police. The hospital later told him it was a miracle he lived. He got charged with assault and sentenced to 2 years in jail and ordered to pay her 30,000 for pushing her. Further to this he gets placed on a violent offenders list for the rest of his life. Aside from the $30,000 she received in court awarded damages, she received 12 months social security benefits for trauma, was given a Government job and was hailed in the media as a survivor of domestic violence.
The guy had never did anything wrong in his life, not even a parking ticket.
The girl had a long history of violence, including stabbing 2 previous BF`s.
