The MFX case can be compared to the Max Hardcore case. It was not really about the content, but about the way it has been produced. MFX was charged with exploiting poor women and possibly minors and they were charged with sending porn videos by mail which is a violation of the US postal law. What it comes down to is that their videos were very provocative just like Max Hardcore's videos were and that American justice bit the bait and took action. So if you stick with online porn only and respect 2257 you're ok.
Also about hosting, we've had a scat site hosted by Host Gator, they went through the content due to copyright questions but didn't mention anything about the scat part nor asked me to remove it.
