1. In the 6 years from 2000 to 2006, when Republicans controlled congress, spending went up 850 trillion dollars, and in the next 5 1/2 years after Dems took over, it went up 1,150 trillion. Both bad, but still.....
2. Since you are making this all about Bush and Obama, what this chart shows is that in only 2.5 years in office, Obama has spent more than 3/4 of what Bush increased spending by in 8 years. By holding to that current track, Obama, if he won a second term, would increase spending almost 3 times what Bush did.
I think you need to look more carefully at charts when making your points.

Yeah, good point. As soon as Obama got in, everything should have been fixed instantly. That's what all the sensible people thought would happen, for sure!
Dig a hole for 8 years, and then, in under 3 years - POOF! it's gone! Of course that's how it would work, if Obama wasn't the big socialist failure he is!
