It is crazy how broke people are right now. I have doctors and lawyer friends on my facebook and even they are bitching. lol
One of my friends is a trial attorney for a big debt collector, and she was just telling me how she is now 300k in debt with college loans and does not think she will ever pay that off. She has only been practicing a year or two I believe, and always talking about how she makes a lot less money than people think. Same with a lot of my professional friends. They have college degrees and decent jobs but still barely making it and in debt like crazy.
Plus in Southern California they all bought these overpriced houses and just scraping along in traffic everyday.
I'd rather be self employed, with no college debt.
