My advice, for a starter is be extremely clear and specific about what you offer and what you don't.

As mentioned the word support is so broad that many people will come to expect everything from you. As well as blame everything on you.

Set your prices to what is reasonable for you. Those people/clients that expect the world from you want it for $4.99 a month or less. You DO NOT want those customers. It may sound like bad business advice to shun potential customers, but they are typically people who do not care about you, your business, or your trust.

Your best bet to grow a hosting business is to gain your own gig's building them simple websites. Jobs like this are excellent because you also have a say in where to host... on your server!
