I got mine at the end of grade 4 so what is that? 9 years old?
It was a very hot summer and I was staying at my grandparents house at the time and that was before central air was common so the house was always hot. All that sweating made it spread like wild fire... I was so covered in them they had to take me to the hospital, i had literally hundreds all over. In my eyes, on my gums, on my tongue. They did xrays and even saw them on my lungs. That was probably the longest 2 weeks of my life... I tried about 100 remedies and medicines to help with the itching but the only thing that worked at all was oatmeal baths... something in it calms the nerves and the itch goes away.
other helpful itch remedies that work is ice. epson salts are good for the skin and cleansing etc.. but that may lead to itchiness, so i would try the ice after that if you can reach.
