Personally I believe maintaining public order so that decent people can live their lives and run their businesses is something serious...... that is why it is nice to see the police restoring order so that the actual 99% (as opposed to the Marxists and the hippies and addicts and the degenerates) can get on with making a living to feed their families.

I realize some of you think that "revolution" and "smashing the system" is cool...... but most people just want try and make their way through the world and expect the police to at least be able to maintain public order. When the police are unable to do that, the social contract really will have been broken.
