This is just a warning for those who may have a Paxum card, but have never used it.
So basically, I created a Paxum account after the whole Epass bullshit. I verified the account, and got the card in the mail. This process was fairly painless, but who cares...
Thing is, I didn't really have a need for the card as I switched all payouts to checks. So the account sat there with a -$45.00 balance for a long time.
Months and months later, one affiliate program suggests I use Paxum, as everything would be handled quicker. I was having trouble getting paid by this program by check. I give them my Paxum info, they deposit the funds, the negative balance has been paid. Awesome right!?
Nope. Apparently, Paxum has deactivated my card, I guess this is something they do with cards that haven't been used in over six months. Nowhere have I read this anywhere on their TOS, FAQ, or whatever that I have found.
So now I have money in a account that I can't use, and a card that I paid for, that I can't use.
I contact support hoping to resolve the issue, they look into it and explain what happened, reassuring that the card would be reactivated in 48 hours or less.
Well, it has been 17 days. That's 408 hours and I still can't access the money in my Paxum account, and no one is updating me with any kind of info other than "as soon as we hear from Mastercard, we will let you know..."
Funds are in motion, I know
