I just spent the last few dollars I had in Paxum and am letting it go. As a US resident I added up the fees and realized its just too expensive since it costs me nothing to deposit a check at my bank.
Great service for those not based in the US, but mighty expensive for those that are if you actually want to use the card for purchases. That $1 a pop for POS purchases and $1 to transfer from Paxum to their MasterCard really adds up. I could justify it if it were 25 cents or something but not a buck.
