the benefit of unique IPs is that the sites appear unrelated (company wise), so links between sites are seen as more "valuable"
if they now share an IP, Google already knows they're related.
switching IPs, especially while maintaining the same content and structure, isn't much of a signal of a change in ownership, making the question...
how smart do you think Google is and how long a memory does it have?
the upshot is that unique IPs etc are the best way to start your network, but may not provide much benefit re: SEO when applied to an existing network
