Thank you and I assure you we would not make an offer that we either couldn't financially back - (how would that play if she accepted and we didn't pay? The negative would far out weigh the I initial publicity) - or that we didn't think there was any chance of it bring accepted.
Will she say yes? Clearly that is not certain? Did we go into this without having inside sources and without knowing it would be discussed with her directly? No.
To say that yesterday saw some interesting calls coming into HQ would be an understatement. How they end up panning out is another thing.
I fully get the skepticism. I would likely be the same if I was watching from the outside. From the inside, I know it is a real offer.
For those commenting on the 'up to' line. Yes, how much would be dependent on various factors including how fully she was molded. We would, however, be delighted to pay the full million for a conmplete job.
Playboy also paid 'up to' a million. Not a full million. They also made her public offers she had previously refused.
Times change. Her people know we are serious.
