Very weird that your mind turns to "sexual exploitation" when no such thing was even mentioned in my post.

Whereas you possess an all seeing eye? HINT: If you're going to make a claim about a situation being "far worse" then you're going to have to do a lot better than "I know it, but it just happens to be invisible to other people".

If you really believe what you have written above you need serious re-education as to the extent of the sex industry in the Philippines.
And if you really had anything more than hot air to try and dispute what I said you'd have taken the time to 're-educate' me, rather than spouting off vague, unprovable drivel for which you have absolutely no evidence.

The population of the Philippines is about 50% larger than that of Thailand, the GDP of Thailand is about 50% higher than the Philippines, and Thailand ranks higher than the Philippines on the HPI (measuring life expectancy, literacy, education and standard of living for countries worldwide).

And yet despite there being demonstrably more poverty in the Philippines and MILLIONS more potential sex workers in the Philippines, Thailand has more 'adult' bars/clubs than the Philippines, there are more shooters and producers in Thailand than the Philippines and there are more websites dedicated to Thai porn than Filipino porn.

All of it a result of the fact that Thailand has over 10 MILLION more foreign tourists every year than the Philippines. And since sexual exploitation in those countries is primarily the result of catering to foreigners, it's absolutely inconceivable that the Philippines, with ten million fewer tourists than Thailand, has "far more" sexual exploitation than Thailand. At best nobody knows, so I don't know who you think you're impressing by pretending you do.

Of course, if you ever uncover a single shred of actual evidence to back up your unsubstantiated opinion that "sexual exploitation" (whatever you mean by that) is "far worse" in the Philippines, feel free to 're-educate' me.

What you said in your post is the real story: they probably just don't make enough.

Not necessarily their fault. Most are not professional, hardened sex workers (so don't put any effort in to perform), they're cursed with the slowest internet on the planet, and I suspect most people who want Asian cams don't think of MFC anyway.

I also doubt it's any real loss to Filipino cam performers; most of them work on other, arguably better, sites. It's only people on this board who jerk off over MFC like it's the only cam site around.

I couldn't even read that other post you made, but it brought back unpleasant memories of a website that I saw in 2000, called 'dollmate.com'. I complained about it at the time to animal welfare organizations, all appropriate forums I could find, the German hosting company ("dollmate" was an Austrian woman), and even German usenet groups (Google actually has one of my posts archived). I kept checking for a short while afterwards to see if it was still online and it was, so I don't know if anything was done about it.

I remembered it a few years ago, maybe after hearing of other "crushing" stories, and was happy to see at that time it was defunct.
