I really try to avoid torrents,

unless it's something that is really difficult to find and not readily available for purchase.

In that case, I must admit I go the torrent route. But only after I have exhausted all other means, and if it's not available there I then try the file share. I figure if there is no avenue to purchase it, then it's not quite as bad.
