According to her post, it appears that their open relationship consisted of each party being honest and forthcoming when they were seeing someone else on the side and it seems John wasn't. I'm sure it hurt her reading about his intense infatuation with this other girl, and I'm sure she got a little laugh out of him getting rejected.
