To the USA, George Washington is a patriot and a hero and a (dare I say the word...) "freedom fighter"
To the British in 1776, he was a traitor and a (dare I say the word) "terrorist"

From where the "average" guy in America is standing...some of the OWS comes off as a bunch of "liberal" babies crying.
From where the OWS prostesters are standing, they are patriots and a voice for the common man.
From where the Democratic Party is standing, they are a potential God-Send in getting their apathetic base to wake up in time for the election.

And from where you are standing...you think you're the only guy who ever cracked a history book or went to college.
