comparing gun ownership to seat belts and smoke alarms is out right fucking mad... try again...

seatbelts save lives, so do smoke alarms, the numbers are there and proven... those things do not kill people wrongfully (almost never, i'm sure there are occasional malfunctions)

guns for security is ABSOLUTELY debatable without question. In the right hands? Of course it would help, in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to use it? Completely reckless and dangerous.
