A Democracy is like two wolves and one sheep.. deciding what's for lunch. That's why we are a Republic, which protects the rights of minorities.
Oh, and one more thing.. the 1% and 2% thing is utter crap. 50% pay no income tax at all and these are the same people who are the biggest takers of government services.
