I went to school and enlisted in the military from Chicago... midwest certainly, but about as far removed from redneck as you can get. I did not start enjoying the sport of NASCAR until about 4 years ago after I went to a local dirt track and was blown away by just about everything about it. The more I learned about motorsports, the more I realized just how intense it really is. But I spent years laughing at people who were/are fanatics of the sport and saying stuff like "I make left hand turns everyday, pay me a million bucks a year" I like the sport, I am not a redneck and seriously, that's that
