I always thought such services were playing with fire. Technically it is against Google's guidelines to trade links in that way. Same for many of the sites now at the top of "porn" because they got there by buying links. Technically according to Google's guidelines they should be de-indexed. I'd love to see it happen but unfortunately it probably won't.

I think it's time to rethink the whole link trading scheme. I'm sure Google will eventually be more than capable of seeing which links are truly organic and which ones aren't. It's only a matter of time.
