if you have 80% of your links the exact same anchor then that could be your problem. backlink profiles need to look natural, as if people have linked to your site without asking you. having nearly every inbound link exactly the same is very unnatural.
to rule this out, get some generic anchor text like, "more here" and shit like that to the diversify your backlink profile, might help rule out that.

you might find that the reason you have dropped rankings for those pages is because google has now discounted all of those inbound links for being unnatural so it is as if those links do not exist. this is a reason some sites get a sudden drop in ranks.
i know google doesnt like exact same anchors so that isnt it either, i always switch them a bit up, what i mean is that 80% revolves around the same word, 20% around the other.
I think it is a content issue probably.

What i said earlier, that these sites have alot of low quality post pages. I am going for it, im gonna change 1 site up and delete all poor quality posts, i got nothing to lose. I will get a temporary boot from google because of 1000's of pages dissapearing, but there will only be qualtiy posts and pages left, and i will keep adding qualtiy posts. Lets see if that will make a difference eventually.
