You can't go wrong with a Lab mix.

I'd skip the Weimeraner, even though its mixed with Lab. Not good for someone that is not yet a "dog person". (I'm assuming you're not a dog person, since you're asking the advice of people who are).

Same goes for the Husky. You should be an experienced owner before having one of those -- or German Sheppard, or Rottweiler, or Pit Bull.

Those Lab mix dogs look great.
