Using my online bank I moved $15k from one account to another account, and a few days later noticed the money moved out of the one account but never moved into the second account. It took me a bit to figure it out.
Turns out years ago we set it up so that my mother's account was hooked up to mine in the event that anything ever happened to her. For some reason the money got sent to her account, not mine. Opps.
