I'm a bit confused by this as its not news over here but am i correct that this Joe Paterno was told by an other person that a third person was a kiddy fidler and Joe then informed his boss about the allegations?
If so then i don't see really what he has done wrong, he reported his concerns to his boss but not the police but then why should he, he never saw the abuse and only had second hand evidence that it happened.
Everybody has heard a story about what someone else has alleged to have done but do you ever go to the police with the story? No, of cause you don't unless you have real evidence. It was up t the person who saw the act to report it.
