In a leaderless movement, I think Gandhi would have seen both the wisdom, and the humor in acknowledging the border collie as leader. Whether or not Occupy wishes to "be taken seriously" has yet to be seen, but response from all over the world has proven there are at least a few people out there with attention focused.
