I once, well twice, booked The Who for a gig.
At 30 quid a time. Crazy times and it was just before they went big, still it was easy to see this was a great band. Saw the first Live Tommy performance, at the Rainbow, At Isle of Whight twice and so many other time. Royal Albert Hall was a good one, after that they banned rock concerts.
