I doubt it will be COLD, I mean like real cold we get here. -10C + wind , all the pics of London in December look like it's +5C or even warmer

Yeah, you're right as it's not too cold, do wear your warm coats though... You will need them to protect your arms, bet you fall over at least once if you haven't been for a while
