Exactly. Unless you suffer some specific health ailment or food allergy involving wheat I'd say this doc is a quack looking to make a quick buck.
The amount of info out there from credible medical sources that state the benifits of wheat/bran/whole grains is insurmountable compared to the few (or the one) that says the opposite.
Personally, 5-6 mornings a week wouldn't be the same without grains: shredded wheat, bran flakes, oatmeal, 100% whole wheat or rye toast, etc. Keeps me regular it does. :D
