I saw entire streets shut down. This is to be expected for a protest of this size.

Just now at CNN Anderson Cooper was interviewing someone discussing this protest and comparing it to other protests. This guy said "protests must always lead to political action". In the Civil Rights movement, early on, they targeted specific easy to understand rules. In this case, the laws they should be discussing are too complicated for most college kids to understand. But they need to target Washington, not Wall Street. Wall Street isn't gong to change a damn thing on their own.
Police were talking to each other over scanners estimating the numbers at 30k plus. But, I don't have proof.

Washington is being targeted, as well. I don't believe they need to do anything but continue to protest, gather numbers, support, and strength. Eventually, Washington will have to pay attention, even if the protest isn't at the gates of the White House. That's just my opinion.
