I recently bought a Mac Mini to use as a home server. From my perspective its a BSD machine with a usable interface. The thought was I could still work off my Windows machine and use the Mac simply as a server.

Since getting the mini I have not turned on my Windows machine and have also switched my 15" laptop for a shiny 13" Macbook Pro.

It has its quirks but I could not be more satisfied.
