I've emailed a few of the hosts recommended. One thing that concerned me is this.

Paying for the first month of hosting just to move and test my scripts on their server. Say I'm displeased after two weeks and decide to cancel, I get charged another month (30 days) before I can cancel? I've never had to provide written notice or prior notice to any host I've been with since 1999.
