Total Idiots. Assuming he makes $20k a year, it will cost him $400.00 to wait in line from now until Friday plus at least another $100 in food, if he eats junk food and snacks.
The money he loses in lost revenue will probably be more than what he expects to save on a TV.
He should pick the model of TV he wants, stay at work for the whole week and keep the $400 in his pocket, then buy it online when it goes on sale again. He (and all those other bozos) would be much better off.
