I already paid the $5 check fee, so overall they want me to pay $45 to just get the money back into my account. How do I know if they ever even printed the check, seems like an easy way to double their yearly fee... and of course I still will have to pay more fees to get my money all over again.
This will certainly be the last check I get sent from Paxum and I will most likely be moving the few programs I have pay me through them away from Paxum and back to check.

Hi there, I'm sorry your check got lost in the mail. Unfortunately this can sometimes happen when using the postal service.
At Paxum it is standard procedure, when a check appears to be missing in the mail for a prolongued period of time, that we advise the check be cancelled and reissued.
Unfortunately there is a fee to stop a check no matter which bank you use, and therefore in order to cancel the issued check we must charge that fee to you.
We do offer the convenience of withdrawal via the Paxum Mastercard if you prefer to use that for your withdrawals. Since funds are instantly transferred and immediately available, it's a convenient choice for accessing your funds quickly.
Paxum is a legitimate business, registered with FINTRAC as a Money Services Business, and we follow the letter of the law in all our business dealings.
