of old Ferraris with blown engines that were replaced with easy to work on, inexpensive small block motors.
Stuff like that drives the Ferrari community crazy as another Ferrari is butchered or cannibalized.

My gut feeling is this was a real Daytona that went sour and someone threw some american parts
on it to get it running but like I said the only way to know for sure was to inspect it.
