It would of made no difference. You're dreaming.
From somewhere Manwin got the money to buy Mansef, or it was a change of name and figure head.
They also had money to invest in their sites.
One of which was Pornhub and until someone can prove they upload the content that is assumed "user uploads" or they ignore DMCA notices they have broken no laws. This whole industry allows unrestricted access to under 18s, so none of us are "whiter than white".
They continue to invest when most are shrinking.
I hate the piracy aspect of porn. Long before it cost me a penny I was fighting it. But hating Manwin because they are taking a lot of the traffic and turning it into free loaders is hypocritical coming from anyone who had a TGP site. That was what you did to the magazine industry 10 years ago. Just evolution and we were the dinosaurs fighting free porn. The business has changed and we need to change with it or retire.
As for them buying up sites. The sellers as you point out won't sell if everything is going well. They will sell if they're offered the right price. Even RK would sell if the price was right.
This is a good move and shows the rest of the industry what they should be doing.
Send .xxx to Coventry. And it withers on the vine. Play it's game and others refuse to play and they go down with it.
