why dont one of the major sponsors contact the show and see if they are willing to do a in studio interview so they can explain why the adult industry as a whole is against .xxx? IE topbucks, manwin, pimproll? Easy branding, guaranteed traffic, and most importantly score one in the court of public opinion. IF they really dont want .xxx to happen they need to be on the offensive, which until now none were.

O&A Are also on Sirius and the spots are not just running on Stern's show.
As for the spots being on Stern's show, he doesn't really have control WHO he advertises on the show, IF he 'reads' the ad or 'plugs' it live there is an extra charge, but it's Sirius/XM that controls the ads, not saying Howie boy IS or IS NOT behind .XXX BUT he IS suing his employers right now, and he bashes them quite often on air lately.
He's blasted them about the ads they take, the money they spend on parties (but can't pay him) and the last few shows I caught on replay he was even telling people to CANCEL their subscription cause "No one NEEDS a subscription to Sirius"
I'll fire off an email to a few of the staff I know over there, but MORE people should follow suit and write more letters as well.
There IS strength in numbers, ESP if it can fill 5-20 mins of his show lol

yea, after 10 years off I got back into it around 3 years ago. I was 247 with a 41 inch waist at 5'5. Something had to be done. Now I'm about 213 with a 34 inch waist, around 18.5 inch arms. I quit drinking except for 1 day a month & my diet is super strict. My goal is a 33" waist possibly a 32. We'll see how it goes though.

The Howard Stern Radio Show (and the tv show on On-Demand) has listeners/viewers across many age ranges and income levels, including many at the highest levels of the business world, entertainment world and represented in both the states and Federal governments. And many of those influential people have been loyal listeners for 20+ years. His demographics alone are enough for many businesspeople to have made multi-million dollar fortunes primarilly from advertising on his radio show.
Howard can't be expected to know the ins and outs of the machinations behind the .xxx top-level domain's creation or it's potential ramifications for the existing adult industry. Sirius and he are getting paid to read their spots and there is no reason to think he understands why most webmasters would be concerned about the issue.Comment
