The plan is also to consolidate all the adult traffic and business, and give it to all the big companies, while kicking out the 90% competition (which is us, adult webmasters and affiliates).
The only reason a few of the biggest players in the game have not gotten on board with .XXX is because of the lucrative free sites they own on the .coms. They have a license to print money with those sites. Most likely .XXX said to these goliaths that if u want to join us u will have to give that up. But if your the king, why would u give up the throne?
Anyone that thinks that they will be starting a new life with .XXX, that they will be able to make all kinds of money, to indulge in a free enterprise system, with true competition, is believing in a fairy tale. Unless u have been in talks with .XXX since the jump, and u can afford $300,000, $500,000, $1,000,000 domains, and making millions in profit each year. But if not, and a mandate somehow comes to pass, and u bought .XXX names thinking u will be fine to just switch over and keep working in the adult business, u will not, and will be out of the business in a year or two down the road.
Thats why its so important to not purchase .XXX domains.
