EVERYONE should be complaining whether you have an .xxx domain or not. Point out that the way the new .xxx tld is being managed is not in line with previous practices and brings up a number of potential ethics violations. If something like this happened to you then bring that up too.
I agree you should inform ICANN as this may not be an isolated incident and ICANN could have already received similar complaints from others in your same situation.
