Last time I checked slavery was abolished many years ago.
Therefore freedom and liberty now applies to all people, as it should have in the first place.
The founding fathers had the right idea when it came to forming a free republic. They laid down the groundwork for a free society. It just wasn't until later that everyone was able to enjoy freedom and liberty.
The point here is that we need to do anything possible to make sure it remains this way and that our rights and liberties are not taken away. This is what people like Ron Paul are all about, the right to live your life how you want without government interfering.
