of course he knew what was in them. to believe he didn't is extremely naive in the least. the reason it keeps coming up is because the media doesn't believe his denials, which is correct.
racists understand the code words when he talks about state rights and the federal reserve.
that some blacks are supporting him doesn't prove anything but some people are naive and misguided.

Personally I think he knew what was being published, but believes that everyone is entitled their opinion so he let it go and never thought it would come back and bite him in the ass. Now that he is the front runner in the first state in the primary election the spotlight is shining brightly on him and all the junk from his past is being pulled up and questioned and he is feeling the heat. The heat withered Bachman, Perry then Cain. Now it is Paul's turn to see if he can stand the heat.
