For me this is 1/2 of a stop over exposed, might even be more. Also what was the reading for the different areas and reflected light on your light meter?

This one is far better. The make up on her face is too light for the set of her body. Or are you over exposing her face with light. Again what was the reading on the light meter? I think this might be your problem as her hair seems over lit.

Did you oil the girls skin with baby oil before doing the shoot? Very thin layer and it makes the water run off so much nicer.
You've captured her fun and mood, so the hard part is great.
And by no means bad shots.
CS style can be for the poor as well, otherwise I wouldn't have one. My style is second hand and used by a vicar. So was very cheap.
