A side note on those who are applying for these bigger projects.
1. You will need to submit a formal bid.
We will provide you basic details, and you can do a conference call with PM if you need to in regards to getting additional details required for the project to get a clear understanding.
2. This would include payment milestones based on progress (15 day, 30 day, etc.).
Without the formal bid, we simply will not consider you for any of the work. Saying you can do something, or just giving us grab bag bids and time lines does not work. I've learned this through bitter experience sadly.
Those developers who submit formal bids, and expectations, tend to complete projects the right way, on time, and budget. There are clear expectations, and everyone is happy. Considering the size and scope of some of these projects, it simply is a better way to weed out those who are serious versus the jokers.
