he's a politician. how many politicians hate israel but wont say so publicly because it's political suicide? don't be simple minded about the situation.
many politicians say one thing for public consumption and another in private. the thing is that the newsletters point to the fact he does have another view on race, israel and gays than he states in public.
ron paul learned the lesson from politicians like pat buchanan whose controversial positions on those matters made them ultimately unelectable.
his followers understand he has to be circumspect. go read any ron paul thread on stormfront and vnn forums.
