I'm currently going through my first year of an animation program and I am not really sure whether or not I should continue with it or switch over to another program. I've always wanted to work in the adult industry professionally and, now that I'm actually going to school to develop a set of skills, I was just wondering if there was any demand for 3d modelers/animators.
I've searched around different forums, browsing various business services sections, but I haven't seen many requests for animators. I've seen requests for flash animation services but not many for 3d work.
If I changed over to an interactive design program, will I have more opportunities for work, once my set of skills are developed?
Will an inexperienced 3d modeler/animator do better financially than an inexperienced web designer with flash animation skills?
Is there any demand, in the adult industry, for 3d animators?
I know that these questions are somewhat subjective, and are dependent on a variety of variables and unknown circumstances, but I'd just like your opinions.
Thanks

I've been doing 3d animation for around 14 years(mostly in medical), and I'm going to give some honest advice.
The world doesn't need another guy doing art who isn't doing it for the love of it. Making art should come from an unquenchable need inside you to create something. If you have to ask yourself and others these question, then maybe you should try stocking shelves at a grocery store.
If you had no need for money, and were already set financially, would you still make art because you love to do it?
If you want to work in the adult industry, grow a 10 inch dick and learn how not to come too quickly -- and pray someone notices.
Sorry if I seemed pissed off about it, but it sounds like you're asking if you should be an artist or not. You either are or you aren't.
