I was making decent money, however, some of the frustrations were a bit overwhelming. I still recruit for webcam sites, however, it's not a real priority for me. Here are a few of my frustrations:
1. It's freaking hard to recruit girls for this. I was recruiting nationwide, and primarily using Craig's List. The problem is, so was everyone else and it got to a point where the whole damn adult section in any given city was for webcam making my own ads get lost in the mix.
2. People are dumb and can't follow instructions. They'd send blurry ID's, or not the right types of photos to get them approved, and I'd spend a week or two emailing back and forth to finally have them give up. Even though I told them the best way was to spend a buck at Staples and get it scanned. If they were local, I'd just meet with them and take the photo of their ID myself.
3. Go through all of the hassle of finally getting them to send the ID the way you need it, take the time to set up their account, only to have them either never actually do it.. Or do it once or twice and then quit.
I started out as a full fledged studio. I even set up a room for local girls who didn't want to do it from home. But in all honesty, I've found it much less frustrating to refer models as an affiliate instead.
