great question for the sponsors.
it's their call. if they want to say that on their website, or on their requirements sheet for joining. if they want to use it privately, its still their call. there is no invasion of privacy.
no one has signs on their front lawn of the website that says only people who want to spend money should come to this website. freeloaders and web crawlers go away.
wouldn't it be great that if free loaders didn't come to your site and wasted your bandwidth? that your conversion ration were 1:1, not 1:100, 1:500, 1:1000,1:5000, etc???
