I didn't say THAT, well, not exactly. They both do a ton of virtual hosting, we also do some with the acquisition of HostHead. I'm simply echoing their sentiments that the ongoing work to service these is much more involved than most know by virtue of tight economics. Great technicians are costly, as is employing enough for true 24-7, redundant coverage. The market is huge for this, a good friend of mine has 17,000 virtual accounts that bill 2 million a year- I'm not digging on providing the service, I respect the requirements of fulfilling that business model.
Lastly, that within that tier of sales and clientele is largely "new" or smaller businesses, therefore its not expected by hosts that these clients fully understand the fundamental economic or infrastructure differences or benefits of this versus VPS, cloud or dedicated. These become logical options for service at first business breakout to afford greater uptime, performance and reliability.
